Got 7th in groups, so much better than having to do a tie breaker for 8th. Still lost in round one of Finals but did really well against my opponent.

Getting to the point where I'm actually competitive and can start fighting for top8 at my weekly beyblade tournaments is so stressful. I'm doing so well for how relatively recent I picked up X competitivly but there's still such a huge gap between me and the regular top8s skill wise

Trying to find a card playmat for Digimon that I actually like is such a nightmare since a lot of sellers either don't have designs I specifically want or they're those mass market sellers that just steal designs from artists and sell mats with stolen art. ;A;

The best part about finally having fall weather is being able to open all my windows and not die from it being too hot or cold outside or getting destroyed by pollen.

Pretty nervous for the Digimon BT23 release event this weekend, since I'm still incredibly new to the game. I haven't been to this game store in like a decade so I don't know the vibe of the people who play Digimon there either. 😭

Forgot to post this here but these were my pulls from the box of the Digimon TCG Cyber Eden I got! Plus some Suzuka I bought recently. No idea what kind of decks I want to play, but packs are always fun. Still need to crash course myself so I don't flounder TOO hard during the pre-release of BT-23

Late reply by a few days, but this is actually part of why I'm getting into the Digimon TCG. Boxes are easy to come by, with most reselling done near MSRP from actual vendors, and I found out I actually have some places near by that I could potentially go to. Just need to find folk to learn with.

I'm begging weebs to understand that their constant exposure to certain terms are what make them think that those words make more sense localized and that those terms still feel awkward in normal localized syntax. Personal familiarity can cloud your own judgement orz

Having to deal with weebs who don't know Japanese but still complain when localization doesn't perfectly match old (and incredible INCONSISTENT) community translations is so exhausting. Umamusume fans were a mistake orz

That being said, translating Maruzensky's nickname as "Hotrod" is so fucking stupid. It's not even the same type of car as a "Supercar" which were gaining popularity during Maruzensky's time as a race horse in Japan. You wouldn't call a Lamborghini a hotrod for fucks sake.
