I don't like how much negative publicity vegans have gotten over the years. We are portrayed as irrational, unhealthy, rude, selfish, etc.

The truth is this; we care about animals. I mean some of us might more than others and some might just treat it as a diet, but the core concept is compassion.

I do not celebrate thanksgiving and have not for years.

Colonialism should not be celebrated, nor should it be celebrated with the mass slaughter and devouring of animals.

Instead, I have been celebrating Native American Heritage month and observing the day of mourning on Thursday.

I'm a little over 6 months without caffeine after a lifelong addiction, and here are my thoughts:

🌠Pros:
🌟less irritable
🌟less anxious
🌟better sleep
🌟more natural energy(it took a while)

🌠Cons:
🌟miss taste of caffeinated drinks
🌟miss taste of chocolate
🌟miss that "energy" burst

He disabled it a couple hours later when it was revealed how many MAGA accounts aren't in the U.S.

Perhaps people's opinions of chickens, cows, pigs, fish, etc would change if they were the animal that was being forcibly bred just to be further exploited, killed, and/or eaten.

Maybe the problem isn't 'preachy' vegans, but that the status quo lacks empathy.

Update: I just got back from the courthouse. I showed them my copies and asked if I could could get certified copies. They said they were certified copies. These are the same copies I showed social security...
I just want this to be over.

So, the reason I've been silent about my name change for a month or so is this:

It has been legally changed by court and I bought photocopies

Went to social security, they needed certified copies

Today I go to the court again

Next I schedule to go back to social security

And then DMV...

False equivalence. Clearly you aren't happy with our personal choices otherwise you'd leave us alone. Not all vegans were born vegan, btw. A lot of us we're also raised to eat eggs, drink milk, and consume meat. Then we realized what it's doing to the planet, human health, and animals. Go vegan ✌️

Not properly worded, so it is entirely up to the consumer to stop consuming. What I meant was that these industries brainwash and make it hard for people to realize the truth. I mean, I went most of my life without even knowing what the word "vegan" was.

Also, it's not always the fault of the consumer. The meat, dairy, and egg industries are evil and only want money. That's why they show happy animals and "got milk?" ads. When will they stop lying and show slaughterhouse footage? Capitalism is anti-human and anti-animal. Animal/human liberation!

Well, I didn't "push my beliefs" on anyone. I posted about how happy I am and how I don't regret going vegan in 2020.

The second part was about how few people can see the connection between human beings and animals. I watched Dominion and Earthlings and realized they suffered and went vegan then.

I bet humans, dogs, cats, etc taste good. Does it make it ethical to eat them? Also, it's apparent that you and other animal exploiters don't care, because if you did care you would realize that animal agriculture affects you, the planet we live on, and the animals. Selfish indulgences at what cost?

So, fungi and plants don't have a central nervous system/brain. The correlation between humans and animals is that... we are animals. We aren't plants. Let's say plants feel pain(they don't, they react to stimuli) more plants are grown to feed non vegans and factory farmed animals.

A vegan diet could be literally anything that is vegan. Some cola and cookies are vegan, but that's not a healthy diet. A whole food plant based diet is. Also, one of the leading causes of climate change is animal agriculture, so by limiting and eventually eliminating that then yes it does.

Caring about other beings, not exploiting them, and asking others to do the same makes me feel "superior"?

Answer me this then; what do you call it when you exploit and/or kill multiples of billions of animals a year needlessly? Idk about you, but that stinks of "superiority" to me.
