I’m reading The Land of the Beautiful Dead and keep wondering: why would a powerful being who has lived for hundreds of years - or more - still crave intimacy and emotional connection with humans? At forty, you can barely find the motivation to get out of bed. What’s the motivation here? We’ll see.

3 hours with electricity per day, and it's freezing cold outside. Central heating for 3-6 hours per day (because it's connected to other apartment building).
Did russians strike civil infrastructure before cold wave on purpose? - for sure. What "civilized world" says about it? - oh no, anyway.

You can see Faile - a character from the Wheel of Time books - in a fashion illustration poses. She’s drawn in a long narrow divided skirt, blouse and vest. First drawing - front view, green suit, long divided between legs skirt; second- front view, blue suit, long divided part of a skirt covered with a peace of long cloth; third drawing - back view, burgundy suit, long divided between legs skirt.

I got a request under my Faile drawing on reddit to show her full body so the divided skirt would be visible. I made a few quick sketches. The green one is how I always imagined the divided skirts while reading. Historical clothing inspired the blue version. I didn’t really focus on the top part.
