Trans, anti fascist, humanity enjoyer. Real fuckin tired of interesting times. Follow me, I'm gonna start posting and writing. ICE and fascists have got to go.
Noone Mourns the Wicked!
07.10.2025 04:12 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0God I hate that she's my representation in Congress.
20.09.2025 00:57 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0We have outdoor skating. Maybe the snow will be better this year. I've only been here a year
16.09.2025 14:16 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Imagine never feeling guilty for a solid 6 months out of the year for being inside. Also, sweaters are super comfy
16.09.2025 11:48 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0To your original point though. Twin Cities has some diversity among the trans community. It is largely white though. I can't speak to their experiences, I haven't seen blatant racism in our community, obviously doesn't mean it doesn't exist. The community is large and connected though.
16.09.2025 11:05 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0If you hate the Cold and need a progressive area, I'd recommend California or Oregon on the coast. Unfortunately it's all very expensive. The cold is the price we pay for a better cost of living. My choices were Denver and Portland. Minneapolis won out on cost/ temperature, plus fresh water access
16.09.2025 11:03 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I mean, we are mostly inside creatures. And also, the feeling of stepping into a warm house from the cold air is simply divine. Cozy. That plus the smell of a warm stew that's been going all day? Magical.
16.09.2025 11:00 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I'm a bad example. I'm from Montana but spent the last 10 years in Texas. My body instantly adjusted to the cold like I was coming home. Just wear the appropriate clothing, no hassle. Unless you work outside, the cold is just a minor annoyance. Last winter, the real cold was only 2 weeks long.
16.09.2025 10:58 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0It doesn't really snow in Minneapolis anymore, outside of like 2 or 3 weeks. Thanks global warming. It does get cold but you can also afford rent.
16.09.2025 10:31 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I went from Dallas to the Twin Cities. The difference is about as stark as you can get, maybe excepting small town Texas/Florida. This metro is so queer and I've found so many people since moving here. My friend circle I was tiny, now it is bigger than it's ever been in my entire life.
16.09.2025 10:30 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0It legit fucking sucks too, because we're at the point where anyone with pattern recognition is getting out of the US and I'm stuck if I want to be there for my kid. Guess I'm going down with the ship.
16.09.2025 10:28 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Holy too fucking late batman. They're going to try and cobble together an alternate to fascism after the fascists start rounding them up, meanwhile we've been ringing the alarm bells for years.
16.09.2025 10:13 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Welcome to the 2nd American Civil War.
15.09.2025 20:04 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The media is trying their damndest to blame trans people more than anything. Shit sucks.
14.09.2025 15:48 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I do not believe in a god. It's possible, but I'm not convinced. This is relevant because I am praying on the daily to whatever deity will hear me that we have a strong winter with a lot of snow. I haven't had a good winter in 11 years, and I need at least 1 severe winter. Inshallah.
14.09.2025 11:07 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Lmao, catch the block you fucking moron.
14.09.2025 05:27 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Bella ciao did originate as a leftist song of resistance, they've just stolen it and use it themselves.
14.09.2025 05:21 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0It's boiled down to the fact that they are fascists who love posting things ironically, they follow Nick Fuentes, they communicate via memes, and they have issue with Charlie Kirk not being white supremacist enough. The bullet carvings were ironic.
14.09.2025 05:20 β π 42 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Literally no proof his roommate is trans. You're either participating in the lie, or you have the media literacy of a sewer rat.
14.09.2025 05:19 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I thought this was the case as well, and we shall see going forward, but the presidential election showed me it's still not great.
14.09.2025 03:52 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The latest assassin is likely a groyper, and that's a clear motivation if you understand their group and their ideology.
14.09.2025 03:50 β π 68 π 0 π¬ 5 π 0We are absolutely in a post truth society. Perception is truth, and their perception is all that matters to those on the right. Facts don't exist, just the reality they want.
14.09.2025 03:19 β π 27 π 3 π¬ 0 π 0It is great, but good Lord I hate the seaweed lol.
13.09.2025 20:11 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0A few times. Most family outings were either the reservoir or lions lake.
13.09.2025 19:56 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0My entire childhood my guy.
13.09.2025 19:55 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Flathead is great don't get me wrong. But it's at the bottom of a valley. It's not the same as a lake or river halfway up a mountain where the only sound is the rushing of water and the songs of wildlife around you.
13.09.2025 19:45 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 1Since I grew up there I ended up taking it for granted. But being raised there imprints the mountains and lakes and the rivers on your soul. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't longingly ache for the picturesque mountains and crystal clear water.
13.09.2025 19:37 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 1Those mountains and lakes make the entire thing worth it tbh.
13.09.2025 19:33 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 1I'm pessimistic about this country. Obviously. This event revealed to me just how bad the Overton window has shifted in the last year. It is shockingly far, and my estimations were already bad. I don't see this resolving without massive violence.
13.09.2025 18:37 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I hope somebody sues the ever living fuck out of you cunts.
