Panels 2-4: Juan Jotters, a man that looks like a cross between John Waters and Raul Julia's Gomez Addams, raises his arms excitedly. He wears a white tiger stripe suit and a hot pink shirt. Beside him is Morbert, his stoic androgynous assistant, who carries a clipboard with a pencil behind their ear. They are wearing a purple suit and opaque glasses, and never show any expressions. Behind them, two passersby look at the strange characters with suspicion and delight. Morbert: HAUTE couture, sir. Juan: Can't you FEEL it, my friend? Commerce! Celebracion! AMERICA!!" Panel 5: Juan calls out to Kevin, the retail drone. Kevin is a short and stout man with red hair and a beard, wearing an orange vest and carrying several boxes. Kevin yells out in shock. Behind them are several racks of sexy costumes, most of which look like Catwoman. Juan: MY GOOD MAN! Kevin: AAA! Juan: Pray tell, where are your lounge lizard costumes? The ones formerly in Aisle 6, where the revealing super-heroic costumes are currently situated? Panel 6: Kevin: We're not selling lounge lizard outfits this year. The "revealing costumes" are "situated" over half the store. They're our biggest seller. Juan: SCANDAL! Why, a store that abandons its staple offerings will sink in the shifting sands of popular faddery! Where is the LOYALTY to longtime CUSTOMERS? Panel 7: Kevin: Hey man, all anyone wants to spend MONEY on is sexy costumes. Panel 8: Juan: Money, you say...? Panel 9: Juan: Do you realize what this MEANS, Morbert? Morbert: You can't buy a new jacket, Sir? Juan: Pish-posh! When I'm done, we shall bathe in a pool of the FINEST jackets! Panel 10: Juan: For if the lucre flows to sexy costumes, then we shall open our own store... of nothing BUT sexy costumes! Kevin: Sir, no planning rival businesses in the store...

Princess Ruby in a different outfit lacking gloves and with shorter but more meticulously styled hair, looks like she's forcing politeness despite being close to tears as she holds hands with a likewise-younger Prince Index. A ruined tower and the main spire of Vermillion's castle with a very person-shaped crater in the side is shown in the background. NARRATION: Many years ago in the kingdom of Vermillion RUBY: You... want to call off the engagement...? Prince Index wrestles his hands away, averting his eyes. INDEX: It's just...with Shadowmurk's ongoing war, you're now the sole heir of Vermillion! It's not like it was when we were betrothed. Prince Index is awkwardly grimacing, as Ruby tries to reason with him. RUBY: That's been the case for two years, now... Did I do something? INDEX: Ruby...it's not YOU...! Crimsonheart suddenly steps in heroically pumping one fist and standing between them, with longer hair and his older tights-under-speedo look. CRIMSONHEART: It's OBVIOUSLY that no-account LIEGE DOOMVEIL! INDEX: Yes! That is, EXACTLY it. Ruby leans out from behind Crimsonheart to try and look at Index. A clean-shaven Reeves with much shorter hair looks on in mixed frustration. RUBY: This arrangement - it meant so much to our parents! Can't I do anything?

Behind them, a security guard shakes his fist. Robber: "Okay I got it, go go go!" Driver: "Car's running, hurry up!" Panel 2: The two men sit safely in the car, money in the backseat. They smile at each other, with the driver punching the robber in the arm amicably. In the rear-view mirror you can see red and blue lights fading in the distance. Robber: "Phewww, that was close! We actually did it!" Driver: "Hell yeah! With this haul we're gonna make out like bandits!" Panel 3: The robber and driver both look away, blushing. They both grin bashfully. Robber: "Heh... yeah..." Driver: "Mmm... m-hmm." Robber: "Yep." Driver: "..." Panel 4: Smash cut to their hideout, where the robber and driver are furiously making out on top of their piles of money bags. All the competitors stand ready, reaching for an arrow. The view chiefly shows Liege, Helios glaring at him, and Index looking smug. Birch is partially visible but Vilgorr is absent from the frame. ANNOUNCER: On your ready - aim...! ...and shoot! Liege's arrow snags a nearly-perfect bullseye, with a down-ward pointing shaft. Helios's ais SLIGHTLY off-mark from a bullseye, but in the inner circles. Birch's arrow is at less of an angle but likewise to Liege's, a bullseye with a little wiggle-room for error. Index's arrow connects perfectly perpendicular to the bullseye's surface, and in the dead center - like its bow, it seems to be molded or carved from a nearly pure-white substance.

Just learned the host on Iron Chef America is not actually Kaga. 🤦‍♀️ Though Kaga's actor did have a role in one version of Death Note.
