in about 12 hours, I will be leaving for my dentist appointment... 😔hoping that whatever happens, it's not another 3000 dollar problem...

my teeth were feeling good enough that I got to have a couple harder-to-chew foods from my roommates' snacks during the Big Game, and while I know I am still riding high on a bunch of painkillers, it's nice to not feel as miserable and underfed 🥲

In a splash panel of the Evertides, Liege crashes out a stained class window, smashes into and knocks over a stone tower and pings off a street light beam before faceplanting onto the roof of the Royal Murk Tank, a pair of his soldiers looking up in surprise.

Liege has skewered an olive on a knife as he looks to his date questioningly. LIEGE: It's tactical; why risk being caught by an assailant while holding a spoon? WOMAN: How do you eat salad? Or noodles? LIEGE: Carefully.

Crimsonheart back-hands Liege. CRIMSONHEART: Take the HINT, slimeball! The fall, from Liege's perspective, one hand reached out towards the balcony he was knocked from. Dawn is looking at Crimsonheart in surprise and worry, and their conversation bubbles become faded and smaller as Liege's distance grows. One of my struggles is "I don't deal with second-hand embarrassment very well in awkward situations, in stories" yet I made a character only to put him through some Real Situations, Socially. And, physically, but, you know, the constant losing, is...embarrassing. For him.

I've thought about this an upsetting amount and Liege would like VERY scary horror games and custom building/collecting/crafting games (in the vein of ACNH, Minecraft, etc), almost exclusively.

A woman who we have seen before attending the cocktail social in the Evertides who bears a resemblance to Alkamilla is nearby, reading a scroll from Pollendara. ATTENDANT: Hazel chose to invite the Worm King as her chosen competitor...hm. She didn't send any invitations to US. Sandra rolls her eyes. SANDRA: We've been so busy trying to reach out to Vermillion, fix the tower damage...I barely have time to BREATHE. Sandra pauses herself by taking a long drink. Sandra waves a hand, as the lady attendant rolls up the scroll. SANDRA: And this is from how long ago? That archery tournament is already going to be over. The Duke, Count Baron, steps into the pool's courtyard with another Pollendaran scroll. COUNT BARON: Pace yourself, princess. Another bee arrived.

I wish I had called the dentist a day before to have gotten in Today, but dang, I wasn't expecting this...everything kinda feels foggy, but I'm going to go in to work, tonight, and see how it goes. I think the drive in end-of-day traffic is what has me most nervous since I keep yawning, but. 🫠

I think I've gotten about 4 hours out of the waking day where I felt "good enough" to sit up and do anything...I have had a lot of dental issues off and on since 2018 but dang if this isn't one of the most uncomfortable and painful ones!

Woke up and immediately sent out a message to my dentist to try and go in, cuz something's definitely up...on one hand I need another hour of sleep but I also, would like to keep an eye out for contact...

I ate a grilled cheese, and it didn't seem to irritate my tooth, more.... 🙏we'll see how things progress...

having a toothache and being hungry is a very specific kind of hell that I wish for my enemies, not me

I know I am not going through the Worst Thing Ever, cuz, [gestures at The News], but I am struggling with a lot of frustration, and feeling stuck, and all.

big, sincere thanks to people who are checking out my comic and arts, this week...I've had a major Bad Night for, uh, 3 days, now...and knowing I at least made stuff people thought was fun is kinda making me feel less wretched.

I love taking naproxen for my multiple body pains only for it to turn meaningfully to the debilitating pain in my foot and go "shantay, you stay"

I had a lot I wanted to do this week but it looks like I'm just going to have to be too unwell and too busy, and focus on my health and dayjob so I can afford to keep on going til better times...

I'm still having intermittent tooth pain, today, but I'm trying to push through to get thru one more workday and my Phys Therapt for my foot, to see if it improves a little...I'm trying hard to not panic spiral, it'd be NICE if this subsides enough for me to coast til my regular appointment...

In Vermillion, with a beautiful skyline of heart-shaped clouds and magical waterfalls, Liege and Ruby address each other. Liege looks somewhat sardonic as he looks snarkily to Ruby over her shoulder, and she looks back up at him with wistful sympathy. They both remark, "Honestly...? I feel sorry for you." In a second panel, Liege recoils with a Dracula-like posture of shock, snarling, as Ruby smiles with the same sad edge as before, as they again, both make the same remark at the same time: "...YOU feel sorry for ME?!"

woke up with no sign of the toothache...if I don't get symptomatic from breakfast or water drinking I'll chalk it up to jaw tension from a couple stressy days (really hoping...)

had this repeat again, tonight, and I have NO idea what brought it on! Teeth grinding? Sugar sensitivity? gonna try and go without sugary drinks for a day or two and be more mindful, and try some painkillers in the meantime...

I have 5 characters to do a concept sketch for, two new-ish locations to key in shapes/palettes on, and eventually I will have to design A Creature, but: if I stay on schedule, we should be through the next chapter before next winter! (y-yay webcomics, lol)

most of this plan is still good except, the app that I use for my giftcard credit...is down, today...😔🙏 maybe in a couple hours it'll work, or I can just use some cash to get an energy drink in a convenience store

dealing with a bit of sensitivity in my crown...I think I must have been grinding my teeth again...at least my dentist appointment is coming up soon 😔👍

kept a little leftover tax return money to get myself a replacement squish/sensory toy and get to do a pick-up tomorrow, on it! I'm hoping if I time the pick-up right I can also use a gift-card to get myself a coffee before work...because I did not have energy to make new coldbrew...or buy beans...
