On the third day in the Sierras we visited three nearby lakes; Tioga, Saddlebag and Ellery. Here are a few photos from tioga Lake.

It’s a Stellar’s Jay. They’re pretty common out here.

Lori went on a solo camping trip at a local campground. I stopped by one afternoon and caught this heron hunting in the bay.

Great shot of the tufa, I never thought of going B&W with them. I camp up there just east of the park every year with some buddies, great area for a photographer.

Found this cutie on our back deck. Sadly it was not alive. But that gave me the opportunity to use my macro gear.
