curly brace from cave story, a pale skinned robot girl with blonde hair, green earmuff antennas, a loose red tank top, and brownish-red cargo pants. she is in a sort of pinup pose with a leg up, one arm doing a two finger salute, and the other resting on her bum. she's looking right at you with a wide smile. in the background is a blue starry night sky with a soft yellow full moon and layers of clouds, based on the title screen of cave story and the outer wall area. i know curly doesn't show up there unless you play as her, but it's an iconic backdrop so oh well! 🎨

i don't want to math out when i last played cave story (spoilers: it was around when there were plans for a wiiware remake...)

"Mordecai Ashfort casts a dark, gangly shadow across the room, the edges of his debonair figure brightly lit by the flame of a fireplace. Reeking slightly of campfire (and strongly of cigar), his noble purple skin is perhaps ironically bestowed upon someone with a personality such as his. He comes dressed in a dark blue turtleneck sweater made of wool, a thick, earth-tone flannel overshirt tucked into dressy pants and a grey belt, with some ornately patterned cowboy boots for flavour. A weathered face contains peaks and valleys, and Mordecai's cheekbones come sharp enough to slice diamond, contrasting sunken eyes of blue and red. You get the sense that this is the kind of guy who is always getting into trouble, despite any attempt to stay out of it."
