I get what you're saying. I don't think it's that simple but agree that good candidates exist. The trouble we face is that the system filters most of them out long before the general election. I mean just look at where we are in our society today. We have a group of American people who have been desensitized to Trump’s and other government officials' sex crimes, which are far more abominable than we could have imagined. Now, we have a fascist administration.

Despite it might be fantasy, constantly toying with or sexualizing oppressive ideologies can, over time, desensitize people to the harm they cause. Makes it easier for people to start rationalizing dangerous ideologies or behaviors, which is how we got the Trump administration in the first place.
