12.01.2026 23:42 โ ๐ 6 ๐ 3 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0As another year winds down, the CRASH team want to thank every one of our readers for their support this past year. A very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you. Plenty more to come so keep it CRASH. ๐
22.12.2025 22:31 โ ๐ 10 ๐ 2 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Hard to complain about any of that really. The CRASH offering was superb though, Lightforce is top tier, an exclusive Dizzy game and demos of NARC and SWIV, two fantastic games from the Spec's twilight era. What a Christmas! The Robocop 2 demo was quite a scoop for Sinclair User though. Good times.
16.12.2025 12:24 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0There's a few games I can fire up and just pick up like it was 35 years ago. Batman: The Movie is very possibly peak Ocean. The platforming levels were well designed and well balanced. The arcade and puzzle levels were clever and it looked and sounded great. I still speedrun it every year. ๐น๏ธ
15.12.2025 00:21 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0A fine looking game to be sure, yaaar, yaaar.
15.12.2025 00:15 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0My totally neutral and completely unbiased view is that gaming magazines are great to still have around. ๐ It's just a different experience to online viewing, especially if you design your pages to capture the essence of the games you're reviewing. #longLivePrint
11.12.2025 19:29 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0It is the eve before I start the layout on CRASH 31! Some great games this month. We're finally checking out Speccy Saga and the intriguing S1nclair C1ty, our very own Cyberpunk action adventure. We're also catching up on the ZX Touch, to see how it's evolved. I'll share updates as I go. ๐
11.12.2025 18:54 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Hope everyone's annuals are successfully landing on door mats. ๐ Thanks for all your support. ๐
10.12.2025 08:39 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Crash Live 2025 is in 10 days! Here's the guest line up for the whole weekend:-
05.11.2025 08:47 โ ๐ 11 ๐ 3 ๐ฌ 2 ๐ 3As ever, thanks so much for your support. It's such a privilege to work on this mag and give Spectrum software developers a place in print to showcase their work. You can subscribe over at Patreon (bit.ly/3LFrH1r) and purchase separate issues at Fusion Retro Books (bit.ly/43OhdD8). Thanks all. ๐
02.11.2025 20:19 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0If you can make it, we'd love to see you on the 15th / 16th of November at the Holiday Inn in Kenilworth for our annual get together. The whole CRASH team will be there this year, so do come and say hello. The Saturday is sold out but tickets remain for the Sunday (bit.ly/47SnkZA).
02.11.2025 20:19 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 2 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0CRASH 30 cover.
CRASH 30 is wrapped and it's stuffed tighter than Wallyโs Christmas stocking! We've got reviews (Asymmetry, Magenta Sky & Zak McDrucken etc.), a look at the Currah Microspeech, an interview with Chris Hinsley and an Investigation into what Spectrum devs were paid back in the day.
02.11.2025 20:19 โ ๐ 7 ๐ 3 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0It's that time of the year again and the CRASH annual is currently being funded on Kickstarter. 116 pages of A5/A4 goodness, with about a third of minty fresh new content. If you'd like to support us (and why wouldn't you ๐), then you can back your copy at:

I think it's a lock for the January issue mate. Thanks so much to creators like yourself. Where would CRASH be in 2025 without the ingenuity and efforts of the Spectrum's fantastic independent scene. ๐
10.10.2025 20:00 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Well it's taken a few years but we have finally made it. It took quite a bit to get it over the line in the end, but Lee Bee has done a phenomenal job on the music
BubbleBack, our sequel to Forward to the Past, now available for free on Itch.
Enjoy!

Well on the plus side, the Christmas hols are getting closer too, haha.
05.10.2025 21:11 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Fantastic. I'll give it a shout out in the news section this month and hopefully we'll squeeze in a review at some point. Really enjoyed the first one mate. Looking forward to it. :)
05.10.2025 21:10 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Yup, this one is looking special. It won't be for review this month but I'd say it'll be a very good candidate for our New Year issue. Yes, it's that time of year already!!!
05.10.2025 21:05 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 2 ๐ 0Hey CRASH readers, just to let you know there's been a few hiccups on the Patreon side this month, but CRASH 29 is now available. It's absolutely packed this month, with the mind blowing Cubix taking centre stage:

Yeah, we can definitely do more in the T-Shirt space, that design would be great.
09.09.2025 16:10 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Yes, it seems we all crashed into each other you could say, haha. But thanks a lot Nick, really appreciate the shout out and I hope the mention drives a bit of extra traffic your way.
18.07.2025 15:35 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0So which of this month's games are you enjoying? Bubble In Trouble is a clever little game. Telethugs is fun too, gives me a Robocop 2 vibe. Paulo always delivers great work. I'd love a proper game in the style of the original Robocop though. It seems Zosya were working on one: is.gd/nnE1wM
09.07.2025 14:12 โ ๐ 4 ๐ 4 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0An ambitious game this. I tended to enjoy games which were essentially a mix of mini-games. They kept you playing because you were always keen to see what the next level held!
05.07.2025 14:26 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0We've also got reviews of Bubble Cop and Telethugs amongst others, Martyn Carroll explores the Prince which escaped us and Paul Davies is reconciling himself to forty years of failure! It's a Spellbound thing! If you're subbed, as ever thanks for all your support and if not:

Hey CRASH fans! Issue 28 will be with you by the end of the week. This month we've got more Sam Fox than you can wiggle a joystick at! She's the cover star and we've given her the centre spread to celebrate her new game, Pin-Up Poker! We're also interviewing Paul Holmes, so get your bomb vests on!
01.07.2025 19:35 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Yeah, you're not wrong. It's a machine for enthusiasts, by enthusiasts, which always feels that bit more special.
26.04.2025 14:17 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Isn't it though! Goran is so passionate about the device and he's always thinking about how to improve it. It's been lovely finding out a bit more about the story behind it.
26.04.2025 11:53 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Thanks so much Davey and congrats on the launch of your own mag, with Break Space. It's clear a lot of time and love has gone into it. I'll be sure to give you all a shout out in the news pages this month. Good luck with it. :)
26.04.2025 11:43 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0CRASH 27 is on the way!
