Peterborough's Oakham Ales looks to overseas expertise for special festival brew A Peterborough brewery looked overseas for help to create a special beer for a major drinks festival.

Nectaron® is available now and drinking beautifully. Full of Southern Hemisphere tropical and stone fruit characters, this is a wonderfully intense pale ale.

We welcomed Jessica Martinez and Sergio Hernandez from Cerveceria Malteza, Mexico to brew Maltezer Session IPA (4.8%) with us for the overseas brewer part of the Wetherspoon Spring Festival (4-15 March).

Cascade, Citra and Amarillo combine with a liberal infusion of hibiscus flowers.

And the great cycle of casks continues - washed, filled, delivered... then returned to go through the process over again.

We still have limited quantities of our seasonal Pendulum available. This delightful, sessionable pale is hopped with UK Goldings and Challenger for a floral, herbal flavour with restrained citrus notes. A charming beer, in our humble opinion.

Trade pals - cask aged Skyline is available now. This 5.0% IPA has towering spicy citrus characteristics of Cascade, enhanced by the tropical pineapple, passionfruit and herbal hints of Nectaron® - all lifted yet further by the aromatic grape and gooseberry notes of Nelson Sauvin™.
