I just looked at the source code of a friend's vibecoded game, and it is probably the ugliest code I have seen in my life.

E.g.: EVERY modal (pop up) in the game is hundreds of lines of repeated code, and the game state is a 1000 line (!!!) arrow function.

It was made with the latest Claude model.

And formally provably so because to drive you need theory of mind. You can indeed show with maths the limits of maths since it's a formal engineered system with knowable limits, see GΓΆdel etc. We created trains which ban humans from tracks so the system can be safely automated, not so for roads. 1/n

I am disgusted by this company and will in the next month or so be doing the Hater’s Guide To Adobe. I will not forget what this company has done to its customers nor will I tolerate their loose financial language they use to deceive investors about the β€œsuccess” of their flaccid AI play.

One of the funniest conversations I've ever had with Claude...

stick with it through the third image to watch it slowly realize it's broken, try to "play it cool", fail spectacularly, then attempt self-aware commentary and immediately faceplant again.

it's worth it, I promise.

Does targeting enzymes and substrates in a condensate lead to rate enhancement? No. Here, we investigate how the condensate environment can inhibit an enzyme reaction.

Spoiler: Mass-transport limitations. We find a strong correlation between diffusion and reaction rates.

A pic by Steinmetz. The aerial pic shows what seems like a group of camels in the desert from the side, but in reality what we're seeing is their shadows. The camels are there, but we're watching them from above.

A cell biology professor of mine used to use this picture as an allegory of science: when we look at the pic, we're not seeing the camels, we're seeing the shadow of the camels. We do the same when we do an immuno, a western, or we measure the transcriptome.
