I think back to Milgram's experiments. Some participants really took the obedience to heart.
Nah, they'll just blame Biden or DEI for their lot-in-life.
Remember, to them Trump is God. God never is blamed for the bad stuff.
The "psychological issue" you speak of is called racism.

I encouraged the number is 42%. I'd expect it to be higher.
Florida is an "Open Carry" state and Publix supermarkets allows open carry in their stores. Sounds to me like there exists a 2nd amendment solution to the "food emergency" for the people of Florida.

Because any rulings against the regime will always be appealed to SCOTUS.
Really??? I'm surprised it's below 35% we have a lot of racists and white nationalist in this country. They would only stop supporting him if they feel he hasn't gone far enough, fast enough.

I think this conversation has run it course. Have a good day.
Yes, but it's all Biden's fault.
Everything is all Biden's fault.
I cut myself slicing a tomato....Biden's fault!!
Yes, you're finally getting it.
The insurance companies are not going to vanish! The ACA will effectively end. Killed from the inside. The 80-85% spent on health care will not be enforced (not by this regime) so the ACA will effectively be dead.
But, in the end, the insurance companies survive.
I would bet they blame Biden and immigrants for their situation.
27.10.2025 01:53 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0They're not in favor of their children dying but they also don't believe in vaccines. They have probably never known anyone that has died of any of these diseases, so they don't need vaccines.
Cognitive dissonance is strong with the MAGA.
You assume the parents aren't in favor of this? That this isn't exactly what they voted for.
27.10.2025 01:11 โ ๐ 6 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Let me try a different approach.
Do insurance companies have lobbyists?
Do they have a lot of cash?
Are their lobbyists pressuring congress to continue the subsidies?
Are they buying millions in Trump crypto with their cash?
If their existence was on the line, why aren't they?
No one in this thread is defending insurance companies.
I only pointed out your original hypothesis that insurance companies will "vanish" without the ACA subsidies and the loss of subscribers is wrong.
Once again, insurance companies existed before the ACA, they will continue to exist.

Yes 20% of $300b is a lot, but it's not going to bankrupt an industry that has been siphoning off money for decades.
I'm glad I read some posts before posting myself as this is exactly what I was about to type.
I guess it will be good to have the crimes documented for future historians to read generations from now. But it serves no purpose today.
You do understand that insurance companies existed before the ACA, right?
And the $343B/year isn't profit to insurance companies. They take in premiums and pay out claims. They get to keep a percentage as profit. With fewer subscribers, they'll cut staff and raise premiums to make up the difference
No they won't (unfortunately)
Most people still get their health insurance through their job. The health insurance companies will just raise rates to the employer and pass along much of it to the employee. And nowhere will any MAGA take the blame for their insurance costs going up.
Same boat
