Picked up yesterday and went to it's forever home. I hope it becomes a treasured family heirloom. I ended up changing the cows from Holsteins to Black Angus but it still has the same energy and soul!

On a 16x20 canvas it starts with a gray gesso backdrop and little by little layers of color and shapes and lines are added. each picture is representative of a step in the process until finally we are left with the image of an old red family Barn, a brown silo and a small white dairy shed. a handful of cows are scattered on the grounds around the barn. And in the distance you can barely see the various greens and yellows and browns of the forest foliage.
