Senedd election: Is Merthyr Tydfil set for an electoral revolution? Voters feel change in the air in a Labour heartland with a long history of political activism.

Cognitive dissonance? EU funding delivered Β£5.3billion to Wales, mostly to South Wales Valleys:

- 71,100 new jobs;
- 18,600 businesses;
- 115,200 people into work;
- Β£7million to regenrate Merthyr town centre

Yet they want the man who turned off the funding tap?

Nigel Farage vows to lead UK 'crypto revolution' as he praises Bitcoin The Reform leader, who is facing accusations of having 'fantasy' economic plans, told Bitcoin 25 in Las Vegas he wanted to 'bring our country properly into the 21st century'.

Unlikely the people of Clacton'll benefit! But people-smuggling gangs/paedophiles/terrorists/hackers already do as crypto makes it easier to launder money, sell child porn, receive blackmail payments....oh and receive politcal donations from foreign actors?

The orderlies and cleaners, who cleaned the ward and brought me my food, were all imigrants, from Afghanistan and Africa.

The cardiology doctor who did my recent check up was also an immigrant.

"a squalid chapter for our politics"? Really!

When I had my heart attack two years ago, the two cardiologists I saw were from Portugal and India.

Half the nurses that cared form me were from East Asia, mainly from the Phillipines and Singpore. Of the remaing nurses who treated me, half were 2nd/3rd generation immigrants from South Asia.

History teaches us that the stories of leaders and political movements, whose constituency is rooted in division, rarely end well and, more often than not, take their country down with them!
