@keenjersey.bsky.social great article in the JEP today on the subject of pensions. Rising elderly demographic, and a lower birth rate is a big concern. It’s a mystery why our Gov shelved the idea of an auto enrolling scheme. Madness!
If you are young, do something about your pension.

I find it a much better flavour, easy to grow, though takes a while, it survives my growing technique of bung it in, water now and then, cross fingers.
I’ve got new potatoes planted.

When I get sprouting garlic I plant it in the garden.
I find the home grown garlic much stronger.

THV Galatea off to the Minquiers, should have looked earlier and got a clear and better photo when she’d have been in the bay.

Here is a Q with the new ferry tender. I wonder if either will be able to offer sea-time to Ports of Jersey/Trinity House local sponsored cadets in maritime training? Or maybe even a job once qualified! (Temp wearing other hat).

At anchor in our bay is the Trinity House vessel Galatea. Expect come to fix all the nav aids that are unlit/ broken? Tho a bit odd why we are not using one of our own, guess making more money doing jobs elsewhere?
