Yeah, it seems like he is at a crossroad of sorts, and just can't/won't make a choice, even disregarding the potential benefit to himself.

I've tried watching his streams and the he way he gets stuck in on the arguments of bad faith members of his chat for ages is unwatchable to me.

Make chat subs-only, don't engage as much, etc. is this worth it? ($-wise probably but he professes to care about more than $)

Functionally right now, when playing outside of my pods, and with random players over Spelltable & at different LGS, 3 has just become the "new 7"

"Oh you know, my deck can do strong stuff, but it isn't overwhelming, no chassis or anything, bracket 3"

If we assume game pods of unfamiliar players with good intent, but poor communication. Forcing players to make that choice/label of "Weak/Below Average/Good/Strong" will result in a higher floor of better gameplay experiences with random pods of players.

By having a "Middle" bracket, in this case 3, people will always default to it.

Having 4 Main brackets (putting aside cEDH & Exhibition which are their own thing) with two philosophically on the "higher end" and two philosophically on the "lower end" of the power/speed/consistency curve is better

I politely but strongly disagree, my concern is less the exact number of brackets, but that we need an EVEN number of brackets.

So either we should have 6, or we should have 4, and both Exhibition & cEDG exist on a plane Outside of the brackets system.
