Diamond Dog spotlight! 💎🐶

Kong recently got to go on an adventure with Dan, one of our volunteer canine companions! He says Kong was a perfect gentleman and loved walking the Standing Bear trail.

Now she leaks, we can’t find parts for her, and her shocks and brakes make her unsafe. She has served us well, and it’s time for her to retire. We thank the many staff and volunteers who handled animals and those who drove her, even as she aged!

This week we bid farewell to an icon that has graced our parking lot for the past 32 years. 💜

The PAW (or Pet Adoption on Wheels) changed the lives of thousands of animals, offered up new hope and played a vital role in transporting pets across the country for a second chance.

Cats can be socially awkward too! Working cats like Shortbread and Uni would love to hang out in a barn or warehouse, catch mice, and have as little human interaction as possible. 🐈
