the events of today have really solidified some hard truths for me

that would be nice! Im trying to stay connected with a lot of people but that has been especially tough this year. Hoping that 2025 is more digestible for us!

there's no such thing as being left behind, but nearing the big 3 Oh has me wondering if im just pretending thats true 😵‍💫

this year, in hindsight, has been rougher than i expected but im feeling very dismissed by people around me lately and it's only exacerbating the whole "wow you dont really have anyone"

i dont think its something i want, but i do know i dont like to feel like this

spending my nye dropping family off with their respective s/o and then watching the ball drop with all my friends and their s/o and drinking myself into feeling less lonely. Very cool, very modern

Really need to focus on the blink content i want to create. I have so much sitting in my personal server that i need to organize and draw/write. They mean so much to me

i have other things to focus on but this could also just be the unmedicated depression talking

i have resigned myself to just being incompatible for connection beyond a good laugh or lay

half of it is me not reaching out bc i know ill just hear "oh man that sucks" and that may be self fulfilling prophecy, but also id rather just not say anything than get a half assed response

when all of your friends are in committed relationships and having babies, it is very clear they dont really care about what is going on in your life at this age anymore, and thats fine and all, but damn if it isnt extremely isolating
