A DJ is one of those roles unlikely to be replaced by AI.
There are tons of youtube videos featuring someone DJing on their gear for two hours and get a million views. People love staring at them despite having all music streaming services with amazing recommendation algos on their phones

Yep that is supposedly the point of social platforms, so much more quantum people can talk than paper drops or conferences
I still remember 2020 when quantum twitter was huge, that overhype was unreal but I kinda miss the energy

I live obviously unhealthier than my grandpa’s generation ever did.

I barely see any quantum updates here on Bluesky and obviously not much on Twitter either. guess people in quantum space have at some point all agreed, without talking about it, to just… not talk about it

I did my undergrad research intern at IQC where Ray was my supervisor. He helped me grow in so many ways during that short summer. I hadn’t had the chance to see him since but always thought academia was a small world and we would meet again someday
He will be deeply missed 🕯️
