Finished off 2024 with a 5 and a bit kilometre run. Went surprisingly well considering it's been more than a month since my last run.

Got my ass to the gym today. Almost empty, which I expect won't be the case after New Year's, when all the resolutionists will turn up for a week or two (though there is a new gym opening nearby, so hopefully they'll go there).

Rewatching E.R. is kind of great. It still holds up amazingly as a medical drama, but you also see actors turn up now and then in guest roles who you'd forgotten were on that show.
Lucy Liu was in a few episodes, and here's Robert Picardo as a notary.
Love this show! Still a favourite even now.

Also, why not any large size male models?

I'm on season 1 episode 5 (Underwear) now and it's already pretty damn clear that the judges have favourites.

I'll try my best now that I have a focus (waiting for and going through #transition) but it's still difficult for me. I'm also really wordy and this kind of short form posting is why I never really used the bird app.

Listen, I'm Gen-X and even if I've been chronically online since around 1997, I'm *still* not used to posting all the time, which I guess is how you gain followers on a site like Bluesky.

I did not think that I would end up #running 5K today. Started out feeling sluggish and weak (the first mile is a liar!), but then got to around 3K feeling great and decided to go another kilometer. Got to 4K and could definitely get to 5K. The first #5K in way too long of a time. So good day today!

Today's run was only a little over 3 km. I was frustrated because my interval timer wasn't working. Why wasn't it working? Because apparently my new Samsung Galaxy decided that some apps don't need to run properly with the screen turned off. But I still got the run done.

What's this? Three egg omelette? No!!! It's a two egg omelette with a double yolk. Winner, winner, eggy dinner!

And then I try to connect my Garmin watch only to get stalled in doing so. Why? Because it's ALREADY connected! Well, Garmin Connect, why didn't you just tell me so?!

Getting a new phone these days is really easy, what with data transfer and whatnot. But I STILL have to log into all my apps. *sigh*

I'm watching Culinary Class Wars on Netflix and today I learned about mukbang. I... what? People actually enjoy watching videos of people eating?! I'm sorry, but I just can't even with that. But then I really cannot stand listening to people chewing. 🤢
