We eventually lost 9 units to 10 destroyed. A good fun game!

Our f centre was being decimated while our right was rolling over the Yorkists.

I managed to destroy one of my opponents units with my 2 turns of arrow storm. Our right flank got into it early while I held back, misinterpreted orders.

Game on Thursday Control to Catastrophe Caesar. War of the Roses.
My continent Clifford the Butcher was on the left flank of the Lancastrians. Red and white figures.
My opponent managed to get numerous hits from 2 turns of arrow storm, this would not be good when it came to melee.

Our light rifled artillery put numerous hits on the Rebel formations before they got into musket range. When they did, having more hits they were destroyed quickly. They lost 2 brigades quickly. We lost 4 regiments. Game over.

We had all light rifled artillery the Rebs had smoothbores.

Eventually, when the final tally came up, we had four points in the French had zero. I managed to destroy five French potions and losing only three.

Things not going well for the French they lost that cavalry in my first post. The ensuing grind in the middle went on for a while and they lost the second small division and our flank.

The French came on in the same old way. The stream became an impediment for them.
The French cavalry went up against 2 Austrian cavalry regiments. Lost both melee’s and rolled bad morale for both regiments breaking them.
The division now at 50% rolled for morale and broke. Not a good start!

Last nights game The Battle of Raab, 1809 from Michael Hopper’s scenario book using Shako 2 rules. I played Austrian on the left side of the table. The French cavalry I painted.

Yes, I’m sure you are. Our game this week is the 1809 battle of Raab, scenario by Michael Hopper from one of his scenario books. The gentleman will be in attendance coming from Winnipeg. Not as far as Australia!
