People introducing bills to add age verification to OS's is crazy work. This will just turn into when MS tried to bring XBox live to PC and was dropped very quickly.

We will not give up our computers easily, and that doesn't even take into account open-source Linux OS's et al.

I've been programming Call of Ktulu in MIDI all day long, and I'm absolutely exhausted and brain fried.

Not that it's gonna stop me, though. I just recognize my current state of being.

I just try to learn as many songs as I can in that tuning to make the change worth it. It can be frustrating, though. I grew to hate my Floyd rose when I had it because of how set to a tuning I had to make it.

Fooled around with the internet enough today. I'm camping on the couch with my Steam Deck to play some Retro City Rampage.

I prefer Shakedown Hawaii better as an overall game, but the humor is there, the GTA influence is there, and it's still a lot of fun.

I get why they do it trying to avoid the algorithm blocks but I equally agree. Words exist to be used. Difficult words are used to talk about difficult situations, and having to change the way we speak to avoid being shadowbanned is bullshit.

Can't say you were too far off, tbh.

I buy compilation packs of games on Steam I could easily emulate because I like collecting the achievements on them, but I enjoy doing it.

Fun games are fun games regardless of the size of the company or the budget involved. Hell, Vampire Survivors is just moving a joystick around and I've sunk crazy time into it and still continue to play it. I just look for fun no matter who provides it.

I really don't see any game better or worse than another. I don't see AAA games as being some higher quality than indie games. I have Metal Gear and Cyberpunk on my PC, but I also have Vampire Survivors, Cities Skylines (at it's release), and American Truck Simulator.

Yeah, I'm glad I got my SD last year. I can't say I saw this coming with the RAM chips, but I'm glad my PC RAM was upgraded and I have the Steam Deck already purchased.

As someone who enjoys emulation, nothing replaces the feeling of owning it. A folder with files in it is not the same as a shelf of physical products, whether it's books, movies, CD's, or games. For recording footage or streaming, I love RetroArch, but nothing will replace physical for me.
