Also I realize this is just origami. It's not something more complex like learning how to draw anatomy or anything.

But I feel like the point still stands. This applies for anything you do that requires skill building and/or learning the process of something. 👍

It's still not perfect. I could make it even better, but it just makes me so happy to see any progress after my first attempt at something. It reminds me that you really just have to keep trying and learn when it comes to anything. You'll get better and feel happier as you go 🫂

Posting this to not only remind myself, but to remind you too: practice makes perfect. You won't be good at something immediately, but you can see progress as soon as your next try/attempt.

Btw if you've never played Ever Oasis and you're a Zelda fan...I HIGHLY recommend this game. It's such an underrated gem. I remember having to ask for it at the store when it released because they forgot about it and never displayed it even on the release day. 😭

Not me styling my hair only because I have a telehealth appointment with my counselor today and she demands I show my haircut off to her. 😭 Usually we just keep our cameras off while we talk. Now I gotta dress my top half to look decent...I'm still wearing my PJ shorts though. 😤

I'd expect this on YouTube because YouTube is notorious for being sleazy and worthless when it comes to blocking scam ads on it, but this is a whole arse streaming service I pay for and akin to being like a TV channel. That just blows my mind. What the hell 😭

Not me seeing a clearly AI generated scam ad on HBO Max...dude does nobody check the ads they allow on stuff anymore??? 😭 So gross.

Unfortunately had another day of bed rotting. I couldn't wake up all day and I just felt too overwhelmed by the things I need to do or want to do.

Going to try harder tomorrow. I really can't keep living like this or else I'm never going to get better 😭

Also, my partner and I decided we're never going to buy meat again. 😭 He's been vegetarian for over 10 years and I'm finally dipping my toes into it properly. It's just so expensive and not worth it imo. Looking into alternatives like lentils, beans, mushrooms, tofu, etc. Good riddance. 😤

I've been investing my money in things that will actually last and bring me joy, like creative projects (crocheting, drawing, etc) or outside experiences like events or classes. I want to separate myself even further from material stuff. 😭 I don't need this crap to survive or be happy.

Really glad I'm not like super into overconsumption stuff...like Valentine's deco I'll never use or video game stuff I'll never be able to display. I try to think about if I'll actually use/display stuff, and if it brings me joy outside of the one day I get it in the mail or bring it home.

Started a small journal for things I want to talk about, study, or answer questions to in my big commonplace book when I have the time, and as you can see, it's going well so far. You'll never guess when and where I thought of the last question.

Putting together a bucketlist in the NASA journal my husband bought me back on the first day we started dating, and I'm having a lot of fun setting pretty big goals. One of them I put is reading most of/all banned books. 👍

I was trying to read a self-help book for how to combat being extremely shy/socially anxious (which is me, hi) while listening to Enya and it put me to sleep 😭 Not that the book was boring or anything, I'm just tired, and reading/relaxing music doesn't help.

Still shouldn't be asking or requiring anyone to be send in something as personal as an ID. Period. It's just an invitation for having very personal info leaked and identities stolen. There shouldn't be a way to even send anything in.

Still keeping my Nitro sub off. I'm not supporting these freaks.

Okay nevermind, I added one more commonplace book to my 5 already. This will be specifically for coping skills, things to remember/try/do when it comes to mental health, etc. It's small and portable so that's why I chose it.

Tbh it's funny to me when I see powerful cishet men who are like CEOs, ministers, politicians, ect get caught being a literal pedo while running things/programs that have l kids in them...but we're suppose to believe gay and trans people are the real problem and pedos towards kids. 💀

Went to my first occupational therapy appointment. It went good but it was more question answering than actual work. Also I know the girl was trying to make me comfortable but she kept pushing stim toys and plushies at me to fidget with...like I'm too socially anxious to do any of that 😭😭😭

Put too much pomade in my hair and now my hair looks artifical 😭 Curses...
