From 1985-89 Wanpakku Comics was a major producer of #Nintendo manga & game guides. While much of the manga was later released in volumes, they closed & the last issues can only be found in the original monthlies

A magazine poster for Super Mario Bros 2 for the Famicom, also known as The Lost Levels. Its a holiday scene to cover November and December and features all the main Mario characters, and bad guys, excited about having a party. Mario is bouncing into the foreground with a cake. Bowser is sitting at a table smiling. Luigi, Peach, and Toad are cheering in the background.

A small card insert from a Japanese comic book magazine. It has little rectangles, each with a playing card symbol, and all of them contain a different character from various manga series. Many of them are based on video games for the Nintendo Famicom.

I finally uploaded the 2400dpi scans I just made a little while ago of a mini playing card set that was an insert in Wanpakku Comic's 1987 February issue. It features art from most of their series, including #Mario #Zelda #MursameCastle #Metroid #Layla and more: archive.org/details/zine...

Your 3D scanned keshi figure today is this board game pawn depicting Mario jumping, from Super Mario World. This comes from Play Figure 20: Super Mario World Game (プレイフィギュア20 スーパーマリオワールドゲーム) a 1991 board game by Bandai.

A small colorful magazine card insert. It's a mini game that features illustrated Mario Bros 2 characters and enemies. There are 4 circles with different characters in them and a rectangular "point sheet" to the side.
