At #gencon2025: Justin Gary’s Ascension Legends debuted, with this set bumping you up legend tracks as you acquire cards, gaining one-shot bonuses and boosting the effect of certain cards.

Tiny expansion packs also debuted, with the main deck included and requiring a base game for components. —WEM

At #gencon2025: Legendary: Games of Thrones Deck Building Game is coming from Rob Heinsoo and Upper Deck Entertainment.

Also, Legendary: DC, but no pics were allowed of that mock-up.

Expansion: Sea Salt & Paper: Extra Pepper (Bruno Cathala & Théo Rivière) has 12 cards. At the end of each round, the player with the most/fewest points gets one depending on whether it’s a nerfing or boosting card. Each player can have only one.

At #gencon2025, Corey Young (l) demoes 3 Witches, a three-player-only trick-taking game with only 18 cards in which each round two people must partner to take down the third. Due out in late 2025 from Allplay.

With Frodo missing for the book’s first half, the towers step in as trump cards — but they cancel one another if played together.
