Dysfunctional mitochondria in ageing T cells: a perspective on mitochondrial quality control mechanisms | EMBO reports
EMBO Press is an editorially independent publishing platform for the development of EMBO scientific publications.
Sharing our recently published review on novel mechanisms of how T cells deal with dysfunctional mitochondria. We discussed mitoROS removal, mitophagy, asymmetric inheritance of mitochondria, and mitochondrial transfer in T cells and how they can be therapeutically targeted.
