I will always say attempted impeachment, because they didn't even follow the most basic procedures & actually made a massive mess up which meant the CJ was never legally impeached. But they used the police & military to forcefully keep her out of chambers. (2/2)

It only took him... checks notes... 13 years to come around to that conclusion... it was not just that the government attempted to impeached the chief justice.. what was problematic was the unconstitutional & authoritarian manner in which they did it, even ignoring orders of the Supreme Court. My favourite part was the big reveal through the letters. My favourite character was RaushenGul. It did feel like the book was trying to deal with a lot at times & i didn't understand how some story lines fit in to the larger plot (Abdullah in the East). But overall it was a great read (2)
