The best part about being aroace is telling a funny story about the shit you put yourself through for your bestie in university only to realize "oh shit I think that was some approximation of a crush" FIFTEEN YEARS LATER.

This is literally the first I'm hearing about a new Tron movie and I'm glad, because I'd have been a lot more disappointed if I'd heard about it and got my hopes up before they announced the lead.

It has been a long, LONG time since I wrote an honest to God crack fic. Yet someone on Discord asked a question, I made a semi-joking comment that took root in my brain, and, well, it's Scribetober.

So here I am, already almost 900 words into a Looney Tunes/Magnus Archives crossover fic.

Jeremy's voicemail to Tom is a moment I keep relistening to over and over. The voice acting is just SO GOOD, and the genuine sincerity...ugh. Right in the feels.

The moment that still makes me giggle-snort when I think about it is Tom's cheerful "Nope! Into the freezer with you!"

I had that planned in my head from the jump and I was so proud of myself for figuring out how to make it work. (Her hair is sewn onto the back of the wolf face and the face is attached about halfway down the front, so it basically turns inside out.) I'm so glad to hear you like it!

The fact that the observation lounge is open 24/7, even if the cafe is closed, is really saving this leg of the trip. I know it's not anyone else's fault...or problem...that I'm fat, but that doesn't mean I want to spend twelve hours with a stranger's elbow in my ribs.

Also worth noting: Cloaks make excellent travel blankets.

For the record, I have (mild) sleep apnea, so I really should have known this would happen. I just haven't slept sitting upright in a zillion years.

I'm on the second leg of a 5-train journey (intentional; I wanted to ride the City of New Orleans specifically, so I'm taking a looping trip). It's currently 23:25 and I've just woken from a two hour snooze with my mouth tasting of "my fellow passengers must love me so much right now".

I had two separate dreams last night in which two separate people made casual reference to the Hate Yam having dropped out of the US Presidential race and it honestly took me a minute this morning to realize they were dreams.
