i realize ive allowed myself to be a lot more affectionate in recent years. like i use the word "love" so much more with so many more people, and it still holds the same weight. its such a vast feeling to love, and we bottle it up into purely romance or family so often.

i think this has also helped me tolerate people around me more? like if you fuck up, or do something dumb, im more likely to just be like "whatever" if you at least did it genuinely. like that's the definition of an honest mistake.

i think i just gravitate towards people who are earnest. like i find hiding behind satire and jokes and bravado and trying too hard and whatever else just... irritating?? i think 90% of problems i have with anyone boil down to artificially trying to be someone they arent.

and to be so fucking clear that you can feel the words being bashed into your skull: i say this as a trans woman looking at the trajectory of the world, expecting i will be one of the first to leave it due to no will of my own, and, in fact, against said will.

i expect i won't survive, or i'll involuntarily disappear from people's lives in the coming years in some way. and while i wont accept that, and will fight it tooth and nail, and will enjoy every second i can in the meantime, i still wish more people recognized how serious i am when i say this.

it's hard to explain the contrast going from feeling so unloved that you'd rather not be alive to so unconditionally loved that you can be unapologetically genuine. the best word i have for it is "overstimulating", but in a good way?? idk my brain is too busy being emotional to think rn

Binary gender assigned at birth based on visible sex characteristics is "gender ideology." It just happens to be the institutionally dominant one. Calling everything else "gender ideology" is like when people say games have gotten "too political" because they feature politics that aren't theirs.
