My main point was to favour discussing evidence, instead of using personal attacks. I try to avoid drawing unwarranted negative conclusions about someone I don’t even know.

Here’s my tarantula. Lies upside down and unmoving (except for leg twitches) for about 12 hours before you can see any visible separation from its old skin. Actually wiggling out of the old skin in about an hour. Second picture shows the freshly molted colors a couple of days later.

What species is this?

For my adult tarantula, a Mexican redknee (Brachypelma smithi), the actual shedding, as in the video, takes about an hour. However, molting begins long before that as the new and old skin separate internally first. That can take 12 hrs or more. The spider usually lies upside down for molting.

My attempt at “Recuerdos de la Alhambra” by Francesco Tarrega. I’ve always had problems with standard pami tremolo, so rely on pimi instead for the melody.

Definitely a work-in-progress, aiming for a more consistent tremolo (less ‘galloping’), and more ‘feeling’ to the piece overall. 😁 🎧

Good point about the importance of a clear majority. If enough of the 70 to 75 percent of Albertans who theoretically oppose separation come out and vote, that should do it.

Ugh! A simple majority isn’t enough. There has to be a “clear majority,” and determining that is not clear cut.

If the result isn’t an overwhelming “no,” a decision could take some time, especially if the losing side tries to delay it.

Separation, I fear, is not going away anytime soon.

Chances are that a referendum on separation will be voted down, and hopefully that will be the end of it.

I’m assuming a simple majority would be enough to finish it off?

Of all the Star Trek fan productions/episodes on YouTube, the best series imo is “Star Trek Continues.”

The episodes look professional, the stories are creative and compelling, the acting is great. Overall the series is well produced and absorbing. Very much like watching the real thing! 🖖🏻

Thanks! It’s pretty popular and widely played. It’s amazing that it was first published while Henry VIII was still alive (1546)! I wonder how much of today’s guitar repertoire will still be played 500 years from now. 😳

I agree with doing that. I’ve found that many times the given fingerings in published music are more awkward than they should be, for me anyway.

I don’t have a particular app in mind, but I find YouTube videos by native speakers teaching the language I’m interested in to be very helpful (Egyptian Arabic, for myself). There seem to be channels and videos for all learning levels, from beginner to advanced.

Yes. Taught and discussed in the 70s. Check out tv, books and movies from that time. There could have been more, but the subjects were not buried.
