11.11.2025 20:56 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I had an Imp for 3 years at uni. It was 20 years old and I absolutely loved it but it didn't like to do more than about 50 miles without overheating.
Also not sure I ever knew the back window opened! Mine was a 66 so maybe it didn't
Spotted an MG Maestro here a couple of days ago. Immaculate nick but I would struggle to call it (or the Montego for that matter) a beauty beyond the nostalgia factor
07.11.2025 09:22 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0incredible photo that's definitely worth at least 1,000 words from Andrew Harnik of Getty

With a wry smile as someone with a degree in French who teaches classical guitar!
Bought it just now.

Mine get thrown in one of two shoe boxes about 2 minutes after I get home. Been at it a few years and have about 250 of the things! Every once in a while I think about displaying them but it'll need a structure.
This is almost the most insidious of all the corrupt events because it is so utterly undeserved and seemingly trivial, but her father spits fury about meritocracy constantly.
30.10.2025 15:59 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I've clocked up just shy of 25,000 miles in 17 years & I'd say
1. get a gait analysis to be sure you're wearing appropriate shoes
2. don't try to force a gait that's unnatural to you - forefoot running puts a big load on the calves
3. Pliรฉs, squats, lunges, calf lifts
4. Don't overstride
Well done you. And the flowers look great

The song that is a complete rip-off of The End Of The World As We Know It by R.E.M.
In my opinion!
Passed my driving test in an Allegro. A beige one. Chertsey 1979.

23.10.2025 08:26 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I have 6 months left on my lovely burgundy EU passport. I can't tell you how much I don't want to replace it.
Especially as my wife has an Irish passport.
If he was president of any country other than the USA that country would be a bankrupt pariah state.
20.10.2025 19:53 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0It'll be my 107th so I should imagine I'll get round it one way or another! Just have to go slowly enough. 2:15 feels a bit humiliating when you've got several 1:34 and 1:35s in your past, but that's getting old for you.
19.10.2025 19:54 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Well I'm doing Maidenhead half next Sunday and as I haven't run beyond 10K since May even a half might be a struggle now!

Cauliflower fungus in woodland
Cauliflower fungus beside an amanita
Came across these beauties yesterday, I was going to go back and collect one of them for lunch but have been told in no uncertain terms that we will not be eating things I've found in the woods

A fantastic earworm, I'd be happy to hum that all day.
Check out the original by Van Morris on if you haven't heard it.
