So an interesting thing about adderall I wasn’t expecting is that after the 8 hours of high motivation and forward momentum is that brief crash period of about 2 hr or so where you feel *demotivated* and worn out.

On the whole it seems like a fair trade off but it is a bit of a roller coaster.

I'm not saying there aren't some good stories out there, but I do feel there's been fewer "must read" comics from the main DC/Marvel lines in the last 30 years or so. And that's not because comics suck, it's because Marvel and DC are unrewarding to work for unless you're a huge fan I think.

I think honestly a lot of the best writers and artists in comics during the 1990s and 2000s just went elsewhere and that nowadays a lot of young writers/artists know they don't need to play wtih the big two unless they really want to, given the explosion of indie/kid comics and webcomics.

It probably depends how much you're watching it for yourself vs. for your kids?

Like my understanding (as someone who's seen neither) is the first sets up the second which also goes much deeper in the lore but if you're going with your kids because they're fans, I bet it'll be fun regardless
