Reminds me of what he did to the Bonwit Teller building. I'd invite people to research the story, but no one cares. I'm actually not against renovations/expansions, etc. We've done it before. But of course, there should be a thoughtful public process. That's how good governance is supposed to work.

Someone is planting buyout stories on $PZZA. On June 11, in Semafor, today in "Street Insider." Both stories involved Apollo, a take-private price in the low $60s, citing "people familiar with the matter." Nothing from the company.

Lots of value in price behavior provided one's own behavior is properly managed.

There is a time to let it go.

There are no innings. And even if there were, there's no reliable way to know which one you are in.

We all know politics and hypocrisy go hand in hand. But certain business/investment people (including some I know) making excuses for a top-down command economy, where the state leverages its power over private industry, taking equity, demanding tribute, etc, is ATOMIC-level hypocrisy. It's cringe.
