I’m lucky to be where I am, but I’m sure as hell not proud to be.

Met a man in Columbus, GA earlier this year stoked this same emotion and anger. Houseless man who I got to know for a short time, who told me he was because he “couldn’t afford his mental”. I helped how I could, listened to him. I regrettably never got his name. It’s been on my mind weekly since.

This entire thing has stirred me deep in my soul. It makes me so emotional and frustrated because I hate violence, I always feel it can be avoided, but I genuinely can’t feel remorse. The American healthcare system has held back so many of my friends and family.

One thing about me is that I do absolutely suck at listening to stories about weird, apparently paranormal things that happened to you.
