I used to think that Hannibal was a shocking outlier regarding what they got away with depicting on network TV, but the more ER I take in, nope, the bar was set a long time ago apparently.

I'm definitely of the opinion that the humour is dated as hell and would prefer a different tone, but the game, while a time investment for sure, has me completely hooked. The way the game keeps unfolding more than makes up for the stunted runs I crash into every now and then.

that one seems like a good re-watch. Might've been long enough since last time that it'll feel new again.

And like, the tone swings? I'm sorry, just how do you justify following that with this?

90's TV was something else!

It's wild to think about how TV used to be produced compared to nowadays. Fully convinced myself this ep of ER HAD to be the season finale just on gravity alone, but no, there's 5 more after this.

Might just be a serialized storytelling problem? Def not the first time a season two of a really tight and enjoyable show turned out like this imo.

I think the rewards are more drawn out and I need to get excited for it again as it were.

But every time I hit a new milestone there is definitely more interest to follow up on.

I genuinely feel like we need to see video games fleshing out MTG lore, AA RPG or hack and slash adventure style stuff. Doesn't have to be current, just keep characters alive in the consciousness so when they show up in the game there's more recognition and attachment.

Mewgenics is so fascinating as I am totally hooked, but I can really only play for about 20 minutes at a time before I get restless... but then it's like an hour before I've booted it back up again.

Really enjoying Mewgenics so far, but oh boy, I must've gotten lucky out of the gate. Breezed through the caves on my third run only for the boss of the area to suddenly completely put me in my place, and now I'm genuinely having trouble getting out of the alley again.
