07.08.2025 15:21 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0People are sick of both Labour and the Tories. In 2019, 75% of people voted Labour and Tory combined. Last year, 57%. If one was held now, it'd be less than 40%.
We can definitely fight off Reform and Tory in some seats if we appeal to Labour voters without putting off the voters gained last year.
Ed Davey still the only leader of any main party making any sense right now.
He's absolutely right.

We'll be absolutely fucked next election because Labour is shite and Corbyn's new party is gonna split the vote and Reform will win.

Weโre over 5k sigs now. If you want to hear all our parties and not just have the GE framed four years out by constant over platforming of one party, then make sure you sign this petition. Democracy is at stake. Pass it on. We need to get to 10k by sept 13th. petition.parliament.uk/petitions/71...

A quote from Nigel Farage: "If Brexit is a disaster, I will go and live abroad, I'll go and live somewhere else"
Nigel Farage has lied many times, but this is one of his biggest. Kinda wish he was telling the truth with this one. Why hasn't he fucked off yet?
20.07.2025 15:31 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0So no policies Nigel doesn't have a clue, doesn't want to answer questions, and gets all the attention, even though he claims the media is out to get him, but there's no time for Ed Davey who actually wants to say something other than "I don't know" ffs.
Ed Davey was right about the BBC.
12 min - Nigel Farage's interview in which he didn't have answers to many of the questions asked by Laura Kuenssberg
7 mins - Ed Davey's interview in which he wanted to answer questions from Laura Kuenssberg but they conveniently ran out of time
The over platforming of Reform continues this morning but for a change several other parties are being represented - LibDems and SNP for a change. The broadcast media know we have a point but we need to keep up the pressure. Plurality now. Sign and pass on. petition.parliament.uk/petitions/71...

Quote from Sarah "Liberal Democrats have campaigned for votes at 16 for well over twenty years and so we welcome this decision. "However, there appears to be an Elon Musk-shaped hole in the Governmentโs proposed changes to elections. "Ministers must go much further to close the door to foreign oligarchs interfering in British politics."
Itโs a nonsense that up until now, 16 and 17 year olds have been able to pay taxes and served in the Armed Forces, but not have their say in elections.
Votes at 16 is a no-brainer - after all, it has worked hugely well in Scotland and Wales and ensured that young people are engaged in politics.
If the only way you'll ever hear someone call out Nigel Farage's destructive, divisive politics on the BBC is for me to do it, then so be it.
