$NVDA earnings are coming up and PCE inflation data will be released Friday. If either of these surprise positively, we could see our performance turn around.

Momentum gauges are strongly negative now, at the worst levels since last August. We might be seeing a bit of a rebound today. Weekly charts are still very positive and haven't broken their multi-year trend lines. Heavy skew may be unwinding which is a benefit to the greater stock market long term.

The end result is a portfolio that has $UPRO, $EURL, $PLTR, $TSLA, $CRWD, and $AVGO.

High volatility continues to hit the mega cap growth stocks the hardest, resulting in abysmal performance for us since the last trade day.

The system called for the scale out of the $UPRO position which realized a 4% gain, scale out of $TSLA which realized a 13%, new position in $AVGO, add to $EURL, a balancing buy on $FNGU, a balancing buy on $PLTR, and no trade needed on $CRWD as it is still at its desired weight.

Today is a trade day and the system called for new positions in plays that may have better momentum than our current holdings. As such, we scaled a bit out of $UPRO again to build up $EURL and sold some more $TSLA for a new starter in $AVGO.

Recent pain in the mega cap growth stocks really brought us down from the last update, however, you can still see the outperformance a long-term time horizon has on this strategy, even when riskier assets are hit hard.

The markets have felt volatile since November with #SPY pressing all time highs despite Mega Cap declines in more divergence

The end of the day surge higher yesterday shows me that institutions are buying up this action, which is a good sign 🙏

As such, momentum has been better in European markets as evidenced by our small shift from #UPRO to #EURL. If this trend keeps up, we will shift more to #EURL in future trade days. For now, we watch and wait! Enjoy your Valentines Day!

The difference between political speak and tangible action has keep the market moving sideways for some time now, and it is anyone's guess as when that will end and in which direction.

Certain tariffs appear to be postponed, which the market likes, but price action seems hesitant to move up or down in any strong direction.

Market momentum gauges and S&P 500 momentum gauges dipped into negative territory but are flirting with the neutral zone as this week comes to a close. The market is still highly volatile as mega cap earnings affect the market and investors digest new inflation data.

a balancing sale on #FNGU to maintain its size which resulted in a 17% gain on those shares, and a balancing sale on #PLTR which resulted in a 62% gain on those shares. The end result is a portfolio that has #UPRO, #EURL, #PLTR, #TSLA, and #CRWD.

For now, our portfolio has benefited greatly from its positioning, so we sit on our hands and continue to watch!

We are passed the bulk of the big earnings reports, so inflation readings next week and continued monitoring of White House politics will be key for performance in the short term.

The tech sector is in negative momentum gauges but they are improving, if sustained our portfolio should continue to benefit greatly.

Market momentum gauges and S&P 500 momentum gauges still remain positive but have been flirting with flipping negative over these last couple of weeks due to the volatility we are seeing around earnings and political headlines.

The end result is a portfolio that still has #UPRU , #FNGU, #TSLA, and #PLTR (all at full size).

Our balancing trades resulted small purchases in #TSLA, #FNGU, and #UPRO because #PLTR took off like a rocketship on earnings. So we sold a good chunk of #PLTR shares at a 54% gain to keep that position sized properly, and rolled that capital over into our other positions.

Yesterday was a trade day and I missed it due to a busy work schedule. But it is no big deal because the system again called for no trades! We are already fully invested in our positions and momentum is currently still on our side, so treat this trade day as an opportunity to balance the portfolio.
