There could be a vote as early as Wed. to claw back 2 years of funding (that Congress already appropriated) for public broadcasting. If passed, many rural areas will lose vital lifelines, classical radio stations will nearly vanish, & independent journalism will suffer.

I am in downtown Los Angeles right now and it is completely surreal to hear that Trump is sending Marines here. We are listening to mariachi music. People have dogs. There are teenagers here. It is utterly and completely peaceful. Please tell your friends.

Every opportunity Democrats find to delay by a week, a day, even an hour, is another opportunity for Republican division to cause another disagreement that multiplies that delay.
