FDA, ASCO propose principles for proper dosing in cancer drug development The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) have laid out several principles for cancer drug developers to ensure more nuanced dosing. The principles are intended to help sponsors develop drugs that are better tolerated by patients who otherwise might suffer from long-term exposure and toxicity.

Side effects like pneumonitis, fatigue, diarrhea plague cancer tx. Patient Centered Dosing Initiative (therightdose.org) blew the door off this topic and @fda.gov + @ascocancer.bsky.social are out with further guidelines that make sense w/new classes of drugs #cansky www.raps.org/news-and-art...

non-Governmental research funding is becoming more important every day. @metavivor.bsky.social received almost double the usual number of letters of intent last week. We need our supporters to be generous this year so we can fund promising research!
