game genres are so fuzzy and confusing...what's an Action Adventure game?? what do you actually do in an RPG?? to fix this, i got together with loads of my lovely friends to create a much more descriptive classification system. all games can be neatly placed into the New Genres

It's wild how many studios are demanding relocation. I know it's a buyer's market right now, but asking people to move cross-country/internationally to highly expensive cities, leaving behind their external support system, for a job that may disappear in a week is a special kind of cruel.

I think the reason Noah Caldwell Gervais' essays work where a lot of others don't is that he's not trying to tell you how to feel about something, he's telling you the story of how HE feels about it because he writes travelogues even even he writes a game review.
