Chronic Lyme quackery is distinguishable from conventional medicine due to prominent red flags.

A "Lyme literate" quack is typically involved, and usually they use marketing terms like integrative, functional, naturopathic, and alternative.

Prognosis is excellent, though some symptoms can persist after treatment.

The “Lyme literate” quack is the cult leader, the snake oil profiteer, & the fake expert.

In the worst cases, celebrities become vocal members of the chronic #Lyme cult and help to recruit new victims.

In diagnostic testing, the positive predictive value (PPV) is the percent chance that a positive result is a true positive.

The positive predictive value of a celebrity #Lyme disease diagnosis is very low.

And if there's anti-vax sentiment in the family, the PPV goes lower due to crank magnetism.

Some bad lies from someone leading the health depertment in the US.

Yes, it is a govenment scheme. Does he really think a plantif is better of dealing with a phamaceutical company? Does he imply you can buy the courts?
