I think some games do a really good job of side-quests being engaging and unlocking cool things that you could also do without if you skipped, but as someone that really needs to finish every quest in the game, I'd agree most games are just tedious about it.

That being said, my comic pull box is enormous and I have made no progress in culling that at all.

I'm finally canceling my Final Fantasy 14 subscription after being a regular player for 8 years.

The game is great, but also I feel like a burden has been lifted. When did every game become designed to be chores?

My problem is that I full cleared once and then immediately lost all motivation to keep playing
