The game has a tad bit of horror imagery but it's nothing over the top. I personally think it would be okay! Other than that, we have some very slight swearing in our dev commentaries (nothing crazy, just "damn" and "hell"s). The dev commentary is only available after 100%ing the game as well.

The game itself is completely free but if you throw a few bones at the developer you get some extra codex text on all the creatures and objects you find, plus some developer commentary.
Seems a nice way to do a free release!
Also the codex is just the protagonist's alien geocities blog.
There's been some real good free games on Steam recently. Few as weird as Fourmiworld, though.
A kinda-sorta metroidvania set in a mostly-destructible open world that loops at the left/right and top/bottom edges, with a funky photo-collage aesthetic. Very non-linear with major mysterious vibes.
To everyone who wants to buy the Fourmiworld Wandereye's Writings DLC (highly recommend!), the launch discount is going to be ending soon!
