Centralized support funds are at risk of being restricted, either by financial laws or by transfer limits. As such, decentralizing these detainee support funds would make supporting the Mendiola detainees more resilient in the long term.

We stress that we do NOT want to centralize financial support for the Mendiola detainees. If you are already supporting detainees whose supporters you trust and verify, please continue to support them and feel free to post a comment of their fundraiser in our post.

In addition, we aim to also prioritize funds for posting bail, psychological support, medical expenses, and other forms of support as needed and determined by the detainees, ex-detainees, and their families.

We are renewing our call for donations to support existing detainees, ex-detainees, and their families. Our priorities for support are young people, disabled folks, and the marginalized who do not have their own capacity to raise funds for bail and other forms of support.

Fundraising request to provide support for over a 100 arrested by Marcos Jnr's clampdown. 50 of the detained are minors.

200 people were arrested protesting the corrupt government of Philippines, including 50 minors, and they need legal funds. I have it on good authority that this account is legit, and if you donate, it will directly help the protesters.
