Our state legislature recently made local school board elections partisan, where that had always been explicitly prohibited. So nobody from the majority party will be hoodwinked anymore by the good ideas of the opposition. They’ll be able to see a party name and write them off immediately.

A nurse on this team was among my most important resources in learning to care for my new neighbors when I first moved here.
I’ve pointed to this work as an exemplary model of care in multiple educational settings.
It is no exaggeration that without this team some people I know are sicker or dead.

A cruel and avoidable grief: The entire case management team for a research clinic of unique regional significance was eliminated this week due to federal funding cuts. They assist, educate, and advocate for a vulnerable population navigating the bureaucracy of complex medical care.

Blessed are the peacemakers. They are the least naive people on earth.

My 8yr daughter and 20yr old niece facetimed to mostly talk about best albums/songs on the eras tour. It is a deep joy how those two love each other, and I really appreciate Taylor Swift being that sort of person-connecting presence within the musical landscape.
