Dragonfly customer

I can understand that people make errors and that we didn’t have much margin to sort out any issues, but this kind of poor quality control and attention to detail together with their poor customer service and absolutely lack of insight into their responsibility is absolutely unacceptable.

- They are responsible for checking the suits before they are handed over to ensure they are the agreed colours.

- They are responsible for checking the suits before they are handed over to ensure they meet the minimum standards of quality and decency.

To date, Dragonfly is still to confirm whether:

We informed Dragonfly of all these issues prior to returning the suits, so they would have the opportunity to check and confirm all the issues that we had flagged.

- One of the trousers had a massive hole in seat of the trousers. This had to be sewed by a bridesmaids at the venue where the ceremony was taking place on the morning of our wedding.

- One of the trousers was not the agreed waist size. Thankfully, we managed to sort this out swapping trousers with another groomsmen.

- One of the trousers was not the agreed length, to the point that it was unwearable and the best man had to wear his own suit at our wedding, ruining the whole experience of having all the groomsmen and groom wearing the same suits, and ruining our wedding pictures.

- One of the waistcoats was the wrong colour. This had to be solved by my wife when she collected the suits. She actually had to grab the correct waistcoat from the shop as the employee was unable to identify the right colour.

These were the issues that were identified:

It was a risk we were willing to take within a degree of reasonability. We were not expecting that there would be absolutely no quality control from Dragonfly and they would hand over to us suits that did not meet the agreed measurements and colours or the minimum standards of decency.

We rented 6 suits from Dragonfly and we had issues with 3 of them, to the point that 1 of them could not be worn on the day of the wedding. 3 of the groomsmen were coming from abroad and we were aware that they would not have much time to make any amendments to get the suits to look perfect on them.

My partner and I looked into different options to hire a suit for my wedding and we finally decided to go with Dragonfly. We were not expecting the awful service they would be providing, the dreadful quality of the suits and the absolutely lack of insight and responsibility from Dragonfly.
