It's an amazing film. I haven't stopped talking about it since we saw it a couple of weeks ago. It was every emotion caught on screen and visually stunning. I'm sure it would have been appreciated by Miss Shelley as the truest adaptation of her work.

We do the whole franchise at least once a year including the newest offerings. We recently got a new fancy TV & can't WAIT to watch them on this thing of beauty. Planning a big binge of "Game of Thrones" & the entire LOTR franchise (all of 'em) starting right after Christmas. It's our jam. 🙂

So why am I seeing so many graphically sexual posts on this platform lately? Isn't there a better place to do that kind of thing? I'm no prude, but I really don't give a rat's ass who's horny. I'm spending a lot of time blocking people and it's kind of pissing me off.

I was ABSOLUTELY worth it!

As a boomer, I'm completely on board with this. My generation had its turn and it's WAY past time that we let the next generation make the decisions that will affect THEIR futures. We need to embrace our new role as "wise elders" (only if we are, in fact, wise) and let the new leaders lead.

I can't believe I once thought this guy would make a halfway decent Senator and now all I want from him is his announcement that he's retiring. What a disappointment.

I think that on this one point we can all agree.

Every time I see a photo of him I wonder who this woman is that he's using tax payer money to fly around the country to see and what, exactly, she sees in him. It can't be his crazy eyes.

Retiring now would be prudent... on SO many levels.

I am so sorry to read about this. I did 16 weeks of the same regimen followed by 4 weeks of daily radiation.The chemo is tough but in retrospect, it went pretty quickly. I'm 8 years out & doing well. (Hint: ask for a port a cath.) I wish you well & pray your journey is as easy as one can hope for.

We saw him at Stony Brook last year. It was a great show and he's a really engaging story teller. The orchestrion was incredible! We're big fans in this household. We wake up every morning to "Last Train Home."
