#CdAHistory The European group is going through the play "The Uppity Wives", and they are amazing! This is a glorious session, and so much fun!
This group meets weekly at 18:30EET, 17:30CET, 16:30GMT Mondays for a two hour session.

#CdATroupes Today, LSdB went through an original play of theirs that they are inventing, and it has a lot of great bits, and with a few tweaks will be a terrific play. They are planning to do a play at Pennsic. That will be even more amazing.

Trying to learn a language: the book says 'here are some other action words:'. The first word on the list means "to sleep". So there! Sleeping is taking action! I'm going to take a nap.

Follow-up, 30 hours later and they start taking a charge again. It doesn't hurt that I now have two pair.

D'Oh! I didn't take my android ear buds out of my pocket before throwing my sweatpants into the wash. They now will not take a charge. Oh well. This delays my audiobook consumption for a day or so.

#CdAHistory The UK group went through a play with a lot of people in disguise as each other and a lot of pronouns to resolve, and we came away with a nice clear fun play. Yay!

#CdATroupes Le Zanzare will be rehearsing tonight, and performing tomorrow. The show tomorrow will be at Benfield Farms, Carlisle MA, at 4PM. Admission free. Food served at 3PM.
The forecast is for about 2mm/hour of cold dry snow, which we will brave on the way there.

I have a general physical scheduled for July, but it was on a Monday, and so I needed to reschedule it. The next available non-Monday appointment is late April 2027. Perhaps I need to find a less popular doctor.

#CdAHistory We just did a scenario with the European group that somehow we'd skipped over with the US group. It was one of the plays with the most ambiguity concerning the story, but it got solved. I'm very happy with this result. It was a tragedy that takes place in Cyprus.

It was a great sketch. Comedy usually involves exaggeration, and I hope real kids in this situation would be less vigorous about the I-told-you-so response.

... and they opted for something even more creative. They will write the play themselves. I look forward to seeing it.

Once in a Lifetime?

#CdATroupes Tomorrow, Le Stelle di Bacco will select one of three plays to perform in early April. It should be a fun session.

Another day of theater. This afternoon, the UK group goes through "The Tournament". Tonight I see my young cousins (twice removed) performing in a play on Cape Cod. Plus I'll see my cousin Kathy.

We got a lot of Kitchen stuff packed. I count it a success.

Moving is a sad dreary labor. Doing it alone makes it worse. I'll be spending a few hours today helping a friend pack.

I don't blame anyone, just my bad luck today. I didn't get much work done today so I could wait by the door for FedEx to bring a signature-needed box, first between 11 & 3, then by end of day, and now, tomorrow. I can't be there tomorrow. I made other commitments.

I am going to have a very busy April this year! We'll have two groups prepping and performing Commedia shows. More details as we get locations and times.

#CdAHistory Today is getting better! We are doing the Eastern European scenario workshop, and two of our earlier regulars have returned now that their lives are back in better order (one had to handle the death of a parent, and related since November).

Yesterday was terrific. The kids in Le Stelle di Bacco were enthusiastic and helpful. Today started with some snow removal, and I'm otherwise getting off to a slow start.

I finally ordered a copy.

Attended an International Commedia Zoom meeting hosted by old friend Kate Meehan. I made some new connections that I expect will prove helpful going forward.

I'm not particularly good at writing suspense or murder stories. Having an experienced professional do it will result in a more satisfying product.

I feel as though some part of our government would have to have changed the laws to allow ICE to do what they are doing, violating rights. Does anyone know who gave them that authority, and whether they in turn had the authority to give it? I bet they don't have it.

#CdAHistory As I go through, reworking the plays we did 5 or 6 years ago (Flaminio Scala), and performed decades ago, I'm reminded of how fun those plays were. I like the ones I'm working on from the other collections too, but I'd forgotten how much I liked these.

Missions accomplished!

It's cold out, but I have errands that require leaving the house. First stop, get my TSA-PreCheck from AAA in Worcester. Next stop, the bank and grocery store. After that home for the rest of the day and try to warm up again.
