Women’s Fiction Writers Association has critique groups that you can join. I have been in two groups so far and the feedback was mostly helpful. It may take time to find the right fit but even if you are not a perfect match for a group or critique partner, you will learn something.

I plot it and adjust accordingly as the story unfolds. Having a plot plan and an ending end mind helps guide the writing even if it changes along the way. It also gives me confidence knowing I have a plan in place because I don’t have to constantly worry about what will happen next.
